Living Well At Home
Hospice care is a type of care and philosophy of care that focuses on the palliation of a chronically ill, terminally ill or seriously ill patient's pain and symptoms, and attending to their emotional and spiritual needs.
CarePro works with the various Hospice Agencies in the Upper Valley/Lake Sunapee and Dartmouth region to provide home healthcare for individuals as they make this journey.
We provide service within a one hour radius of DHMC, and in special cases will cover further, please call for specific needs.
Living at home during the final phase of life is a very respected life choice.
As a specialized form of care, Hospice care is for individuals who have chosen to focus on the quality of life when they decided not to seek a cure for their illness. Normally, a physician has determined that the person has six months or less life expectancy.
CarePro works with the Hospice Agency chosen by the family. The Agency physician and hospice nurses create the care plan for the individual. Our RN supervises our staff to follow the protocols set up by the family and Hospice physician.
